Tea

Every morning when I wake up, I make sure to have my tea.(Herbal tea without caffeine)

It's like water on good steroids. I use to be a big caffeine drinker until one fateful day----I had what is known as a caffeine induced anxiety attack. Yes, it's a very real thing. When you drink too much coffee that's too concentrated, your body can actually experience a build up. And when it does, your heart races, your breath quickens, you hands become clammy, and you want to pass out. Again----Yes! It's a real thing!

I remember when I first explained my experience to a few friends, and they were skeptical. Of course they were. I wouldn't expect any less from the people I hang around with. After explaining the experience, one of them mentioned they had a similar sensation a few times before when they drank coffee made from their own French Press. That's how I use to make my coffee, and I use to make it strong. Why? I had morning issues. I figured, the stronger the coffee, the more awake I'll be. Wow, was I ever wrong and stupid. :) So I moved on to a better substance. Herbal tea, and my preferred place to go these days is either David's Tea, which is quite popular on the Plateau Montreal, or this cute Chinese tea shop downtown near the iglese Notre Dame where Celine Dion got married. This Chinese shop sells all sorts of things tea related. Perfect for a tea fan. Not to mention, you need to try their pork dumplings. Wow. If I can manage to get the address of the place, I'll be sure to mention it in a future blog post.
