Hunger Pains

Hunger is an interesting thing when you think about it. Some people overeat, and should try to discipline themselves, remembering what it's like to actually hunger. Then you have people that don't really have a choice. People in third world countries that can't truly afford to eat, when others have an abundance of food. Then you have people who willingly choose to not eat for specific reasons. Whether it be for religious purposes, or because they want to detoxify their bodies. What I'm trying to get to here is that it's not always necessary for one to eat, depending on their already existing eating habits. For example, for the past few days, I've been calorie restricting. Not to the extent where I'm plunging myself into anorexia [It's a serious issue, and don't take it lightly], but I'm restricting simply because I want to eat better quality foods. I want to detox my body first, and slowly introduce myself to a raw diet. Made up of mostly raw veggies, and some meats. (I cant be a vegan or vegetarian. I love my meat too much T_T) The reason I decided to do this is to go hand in hand with my minimalist lifestyle. I've even gone as far to getting rid of most of my possessions because---I feel no fulfillment in having them. I don't need my bike anymore, I don't need expensive clothes to feel sexy [ and as evidently shown in my Pinterest Boards---Minimalist Wardrobe] Last but not least, it'll be my apartment which I've stayed in for more than 3 years. I've often felt trapped here, and I longer want to stay. The more things I get rid of, the more excited I get about this simple, easy, minimal lifestyle. It's refreshing. It's easy, and not at all complicated.
