Pursing Love, Dreams, & Goals

What would you do if you couldn't let go of a past love?
Let me clarify---what would you do if you knew someone was meant for your, but pursuing them would mean destroying yourself, your mental stability (or what's left of it) just to prove that this person is the one meant for you. Some would say you're borderline crazy. That to do this is pretty much against the law. It's called stalking. In my opinion---every situation is circumstantial. Nothing is ever black or white. There's always room for explanation, and yes it is always possible. Besides, at what point is an action considered stalking, and in what country? The world is a big place. If there's anything I've learned through out my life---everything we have been taught is an illusion. Also, everything we have been taught about ourselves isn't all the time 100% right.
Think of it---
I'm almost willing to bet any amount of money that at at some point in time, if you've lived longer than 30 years of age (If you've had the following experience earlier in life, then kudos!)---That you said No, and you really wish you had said 'yes'. What do I mean by that? I mean, even when you do say yes or no, or even when you vocalize the words "Stop. No. That's enough." or "yes, please, don't stop" etc...that it never really meant that. You still had in the back of your mind, hopeful that this person would disregard your warnings or words of consent, and continue to pursue you. Own you. Dominate or submit to you. I know what you're thinking. It's insane. How could yes mean no and vice-versa?
Like I said, everything...every situation...every experience...is circumstantial. It's unique and therefore requires a unique view. A unique judgement. And if there's ANYTHING that we all have in common, it's this---we're all Human. This is fact. We all know that life is not simple. It's complicated. This is fact. And we know....there is never ever only one explanation, and nothing is ever what it seems.
If you don't agree with this, then I truly don't know what kind of Human life you've been living, because I'm obviously quite oblivious to it. And I've lived hardships. I've lived experiences that would baffle the mind, leaving it wondering, how the fuck?
But we know they exist. We know nothing ever has a simple explanation. Sometimes it does. But these are far and few in between. We all know better than that. We all know that situations and experiences are complicated. We all know how we each think. We know ourselves better than anyone else, and yet at the same time by saying that, we know each other that much more.
